One of the fun things about my job is getting to meet people from all walks of life and from different industries. For a large part of my career, Law firms have been part of the mix. Law firms are document heavy organisations with often vast quantities of document content created over many years. Like any professional services business they are often time poor and that got me thinking about how AI can help.

I posted a few thoughts on Twitter and next thing you know Dona Sarkar was in my DM’s telling me I needed to share some things on Copilot Learning Hub.

In this video you will also see two very interesting talks. The first by Jethro Seghers showing off some really cool examples of Copilot in Education, followed by Love Takshak talking about using Copilot to come back to work. I learnt a few things from both talks.

In my talk I discuss some the challenges Law firms have and how they could address them, before jumping into some demos using Copilot for research and document authoring in Word.
